| I think I've solved a puzzle:
Q: When a healthy person's ear is filled with a lot of water, why does he/she have nystagmus, ataxia, but no intention tremors?
A: Since intention tremors are caused by problems in the cerebellum, a healthy person would not have intention tremors. Nystagmus (movement of eyes from side to side after being spun), and ataxia (uncoordinated movement) can be caused by disturbance in the fluid of the semicircular canals (inside the ear). When a lot of water is inserted into the person's ear, the ear drum pushes the malleus against the semicircular canals, which causes the disturbance. Therefore, a healthy person will experience vertigo, nystagmus, and ataxia, but no intention tremors.

| Dear politicians of Canada:
If you really care about young voter turnout, please don't hold voting during midterm week.

| I have been back for approximately 8 hrs now. I have no jet lag, which is nice.
The airplane was delayed for 5 hrs for maintenance, so we received food and refreshment vouchers worth 8 P, which is $16. Since I'm not very jaded, I was quite excited at having received food and refreshment vouchers, and forgave the airline for their delay.
Using the food vouchers, I ate a curry at an airport restaurant (I don't remember the name). It was quite good and quite satisfying. After the meal, again, I was quite excited at having received food and refreshment vouchers.
Now, onwards for preparing for school (so excited! Really)

| I had an exciting time with people during the camping trip of 2007. Things are excellent around here.

| Check out the $3 water filter. Unfortunately, this model won't be useful on a camping trip in North America, but they are working on it. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19121634/site/newsweek/
